Many of the lists used on this site have been taken from existing resources. Where possible the authors were contacted to ask permission prior to publishing. All external resources are credited and have links to the original source.
Many of these lists had to be modified so that they could work on Listamatic's simple list model. Generally, modifications involved editing class and id names. However, some lists used ids within the body tag to flag the current page. As this code is outside the simple list code used throughout the site, the CSS had to be modified slightly.
When in doubt, use the external resource first, or at least compare both models to see which one suits your needs.
